2. Ownership & License of Generated Color Data
You own what you create with Chromik.
Any color palettes, harmony sets, gradient formulas, CSS variables, Tailwind tokens, SVG swatches, or contrast audits generated using Chromik are 100% royalty-free. You are granted an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide license to use, modify, distribute, and monetize these outputs in any personal, open-source, or commercial project without payment or mandatory attribution.
3. Intellectual Property of Chromik
The Chromik website, branding, visual identity, custom logo marks, interface designs, source code, and curated editorial content remain the exclusive intellectual property of Chromik. You may not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or redistribute the Chromik software as a competing service without prior express written consent.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
When utilizing Chromik tools and services, you agree not to:
- Deploy abusive automated scrapers, bots, or DDoS traffic that degrades performance for other users.
- Attempt to bypass security headers, rate limits, or platform firewalls.
- Use the service for any unlawful, infringing, or fraudulent activities.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
Chromik is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
Hardware & Color Calibration Notice
Color perception varies based on display panel technology (OLED, IPS, TN), operating system color profiles (sRGB, Display P3), and ambient lighting. Chromik is not responsible for color discrepancies between digital screen previews and physical print production (e.g. CMYK/Pantone offsets).
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Chromik or its operators be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to loss of data, business disruption, or color reproduction inaccuracies.
7. Modifications to the Service and Terms
We reserve the right to modify, upgrade, or temporarily suspend any feature of Chromik at our discretion. Any revisions to these Terms will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
